Maison Galitzine

The ‚Galitzine-Sweater‘ is a one-of-a-kind-piece made of a rare italian vintage bouclé-fabric coming from the Maison Galitzine. Irene Galitzine, born in Tifflis, Caucaso was the inventor of the ‚Pyjama Palazzo‘. A term that was created by her contemporary, the iconic Diana Vreeland.

The ‚Pyjama Palazzo‘ became a favourite outfit in the 1960ties worn by the likes of Greta Garbo, Liz Taylor, Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale and Jackie Kennedy only to name a few.
